Dairy products made in breastmilk??
Breastmilk substitute for the milk outbreak in the Philippines? Dairy products made in breastmilk.Ice Cream, Cakes and many more. Oh my God! I could say that this is not a good idea. Just imagine how much does a mother produce milk in a day. It is very few to use and make dairy products. If they are going to use it the prices of dairy products will be a lot expensive. Thinking about the supply of breastmilks. Yes it is healthy and yes again it is the best milk of all milk. But how about the infants who needs breastmilks? If their moms going to sell their milks. What will they have?
Not only that. Because there will be a lot of demand in breastmilks of course the people will think how can they produce or how can they sell breastmilk. Of course by giving birth, by getting pregnant. Just imagine we are now trying to moderate the population of the Philippines and we suggest to do Family Planning. Imagine what will happen if we make that a substitute.
Well I heard that news last week announced in the television. I started to laugh out loud about that idea. That is totally crazy or should I say that's insane. I don't know what these people are thinking. Gosh!
Hope they can think of other ways or other solutions regarding this.

Milky Blast!!!
Have you heard the news about the milk in China? There are thousands of children who suffer from some illness such as kidney stones, high fever, tummy ache and more. And some of them died. The doctors diagnosed these illness was caused by the milk the babies and kids are drinking every now and then. The milk was tested and it is positive of the substance called 'Melamine' which is used to make plastics. That's really terrible and I can't imagine how does this people do that?! They didn't think about their consumers health. Now it is widely spread all over the world. In fact it has reached the Philippines. BFAD tested the milks and the imported milks in China were positivie with that substance. The Philippine government banned the imported milk before it affects the health of our children. Actually all of the powders imported in China such as skimmed milk and flour etc. were banned. We should be aware of what we buy or what we use. For the moms out there beware. We should ensure the babies health.

TUTTI FRUITY BAGS...... or just a piece of crap????
I bet you are wondering what are these Tutti Fruity Bags I'm talking about. Probably you are thinking that it was shaped like fruits that's why it's called that way. Well it's not! It's not even made with fruits scallops or seeds. It doesn't really have anything to deal with fruits. Well it is made of fruit juice wrappers. The 'doy-pack' thingy. The one that you used to punched with straw. It was sewed like an ancient doormat. The squared doormats. Or maybe the Philippine doormat. Did you get what I mean?
The brand of the bag is Raecyclements. Raecyclements is focused on creating Eco-friendly products without sacrificing fashion, independent designer Rebecca Molina founded Raecyclements. The purpose of her line is to create innovative designs that use recycled materials. Raecyclements: make yourself "environmentally stylish." And it is not only Eco-friendly it also gives job for the jobless people in the Philippines like me. It comes in different sizes and colors. Hehehe! Here are few photos of the bags:
These bags were really nice and trendy. I really loved it. I am also proud to say that I am part of the team who make this bags. I sewed few of them. Me and my granny. hehehe! And it is making me busy this past few days. So probably I will not be able to post more blogs this coming days. But don't worry I will still let you know what I have been doing and and what's keeping me up. Ciao!

getting bored....
Having a vacation makes me feel relaxed. Enjoying the new places I am in. Exploring new things. Eating strange foods. Doing things that is not part of my daily routine. Spending time with relatives and friends. Interacting with the different culture. Yes all these things are fun and enjoyable. But coming home gets me pretty excited. I think that's because of the so called "HOMESICK". I guess I am feeling a bit of that! Now, I am back home and I am happy about it but still it gets me a little bored and lazy. I usually sleep and eat sleep and eat all day long. But I should not do that I have to watch my diet. I don't have any idea of what else to do. Then suddenly I realized that I have many things to do. Such as Job Hunting, Exercise, Bond with my friends etc. So, I think I should get ready and get going. Be back soon......

VACATION EXTENDED TO SINGAPORE!!!
After a wonderful vacation in Palawan, Philippines I went to Singapore together with my cousin and her husband. I was really excited about it and I am a little nervous.Nervous because it's my first time to leave the country. We took the plane the night we came back from Palawan. After a couple of hours in the plane we finally arrived in Singapore! In my own opinion Singapore looks like the Philippines, but it is a lot cleaner, and the people were a lot disciplined than my own fellowmen. The weather is good and the temperature is great! It's sunny but unlike thew Philippines you easily burn your skin, but here it's not like that, and so as the sun, it's heat is kinds cool than there Philippines.
About the food, they have Chinese food, Indian food, Japanese food, Western dishes, Thai food, Malay food, Arabic dishes, Korean food, and a lot more! The must try's foo in Singapore are the following:
1.) Chicken Rice (roasted or steamed chicken with ginger rice)
Sometimes it has a vegetable side dish. The best place to get this is at Lucky Plaza, Orchard Road and at ECP ( East Coast Parkway)
2.) Laksa (spicy noodles in coconut sauce with some shrimps and vegetable)
The best place to have this is at ECP (east coast parkway).
NOTE: Don't try it somewhere else just at ECP.
3.) Mee Goreng ( fried rice with mixed vegetables, shrimp or salted fish)
The best place to have it is at Loyang Point.
4.) Chicken Steak ( chicken steak with rice or French fries)
The best place to have it is at Arab St.
5.) Wanton noodle soup ( wanton noodles)
The best place to have it at Clarke Quay Central Mall.
6.) Fried or Steamed Dumplings (dumplings)
The best place to have it is at Clarke Quay Central Mall.
7.) Nasi Briyani ( fried rice with chicken or lamb and curry soup.
The best place to have it is ANYWHERE!
8.) Fish Head Curry ( fish head in curry soup and rice)
The best place to have it is ANYWHERE!
9.) Prata (prata)
The best place to have it is at Arab St.
10.) Donuts - hehehe!
The best place is at J.CO Donuts located at Bugis.
About the drinks:
1.) Sour sop Juice - The best place to have it is ANYWHERE!
2.) Hazelnut Juice - The best place to have it is at Tampines MRT Station.
3.) Watermelon Juice - The best place it is at Clarke Quay Central mall.
4.) Coconut Juice -The best place to have it is ANYWHERE!
5.) Iced Chocolate - The best place to have it is at J.CO Donuts Bugis.
Those are the food and drinks that I tried and liked here in Singapore. Those are highly recommended! (2 thumbs up!) But there are a lot more to try. Those are the foods that my tongue will never forget.

Arena Island-Thank God I'm alive!!
Arena Island
Arena Island is known for their tortoise. They breed tortoise there. This is just a small island. It is really nice there. beautiful corals, plenty of baby turtles and big tortoise, some kinds of fish were breeded there also, and the trees there are incredible. Some of the trees were really big, unfortunately I was not able to get a picture with the trees. hehehe! Anyway here are some pictures of the baby and the big one's.
See how big it is? It weighs around 8-9 kilos, and some are 5kl. The babies are so cute. They are really small, I can't even imagine that they'll grow that big!
Actually this is the most exciting trip I ever had. Not only because it's my first time to ride a fisherman's boat, but also because we almost drowned. Yes you read it right "we ALMOST drowned", I even thought that would be the end of my life. Luckily, it's not! lol! Okay, so here how it goes. Wednesday morning, it was a beautiful morning, the sky is clear though the sun is not up it is still a beautiful day, we rented a fisherman's boat that could carry 6-8 persons. Everything went really well, all of us were excited to be at the Arena Island. We were chatting, talking about our dreams last night, telling jokes, and taking pictures. Suddenly, the waves are getting bigger and the boat is getting shaky. At first I didn't think of anything that will happen, I am not nervous at all. When I noticed that the waves are really really big that's the time that I am getting a little nervous. Everyone seems to be shocked by the waves and we are all silent. We are all looking at the island and thinking how long will it take for us to be there. We even asked the fisherman before we leave, we ask them "Is it really okay to go there now?" and the fisherman answered "Yeah. It's fine, the sea is calm anyway." Then I told the fisherman when we are experiencing that big waves coming to us "So, this is how when the sea is calm huh?!". then we all laughed, anyway it was meant to be a joke. I bet we are all getting nervous not only me, but we don't tell each other. We sat steadily in the boat and waiting. After 20 minutes or so, we saw the island, so we excitedly said "we're almost there!". Then we finally arrived to the island. Everyone is trying to act normal and pretending that nothing happened. So, we walked. Everyone keeps there selves busy, taking pictures, exploring the island, reading magazines and staring at the beautiful scenery. We spent couple of hours there. Then it rained really hard, but it didn't took long and stopped. We are not bothered about it anyway, after what we just experienced. lol! So the time has come for us to leave and go back to the resort. The story didn't end here, although nothing really bad happened but still it's really scary. On our way back, it is even worse than before. The boat's machine stopped in the middle of the sea, then one of the blue thing above the boat broke, and it makes the boat unbalanced. I got scared and nervous then, I tried to hide from them so I won't freak them out. Obviously all of us were really nervous that time. No one is talking and we all look that we are thinking of something deep. What I was thinking that time was "what if this thing broke and we all fell in the sea, who am I gotta save? My aunt can't swim and my cousin's mother-in-law is old and probably she can't swim too. I told myself that I could save myself cos I can swim but how about them?" Oh yeah I know, I'm close to freaking out then, but still I tried to hide it. After that, when we finally arrived at the resort, my aunt told me that she was praying the whole time. She was really scared but she hid it from us, then the others begin to say what's in their minds then. All of us are thinking of the same thing, but never really figured out what we'll do in case it happened.
This is the picture of the boat that we rode.
Now, we are all glad that nothing bad happened to us. And that experience will remain in our memories as one of the most exciting and freakiest thing that ever happened to us.
I know that all of us have different insight about it, and mine was stated in here.....

Dos Palmas Day!
Well let me tell you about the experience in Dos Palmas. I should say that it is really amazing, the place is really beautiful. I should say that it is the warmest welcome I've ever experienced. Dos Palmas is an island in Palawan, its famous because of it's beautiful surrounding and with their floating cottages. Imagine you're sleeping over the water and theres a school of fish down under.
I would say it is the warmest welcome ever. As we arrive at the resort, the crew is right at the entrance and playing some instruments and singing. It's like their song for their guests. Then they gave us a glass of drink immediately. The juice was really good. And while we are walking to the resorts restaurant for some orientation about the rules of the resort, the crew are singing again. Such a nice place and very hospitable people.
There are lots of activities, such as kayak, snorkel and dive. I did that all actually. It was my first time to do snorkeling, diving and the kayaking thing. And I really enjoyed each of it. I was amazed with the snorkeling, it's just awesome, that while I swim, there are school of fish swimming right next to me, and that feels really great. And we saw the giant clam ever lived, it was really big and it's so cute. Actually I got afraid when the diver touched it, cos I thought the giant clam will smash his hands off, but the giant clam was so nice and very gentle with the diver's hand. It slowly closes its shells, as if it was just a show or something. About the diving, actually we didn't really did Scuba Diving because my cousin said that it may cause brain damage, and I don't wanna damage my brain anymore, cos it's already damaged and totally wrecked. hehe! ( I was just kidding cos I don't wanna bore you while reading my blog). What I love the most is the kayak, it was really good, I felt like I was a "professional kayaker." hehe! We did that the whole day. And that day was unforgettable because while we are kayaking I thought that I was good enough to do snorkeling at the same time. So I row and row through the snorkeling sight and then jumped into the water without the vest, I didn't realize that the wind is getting stronger and the waves are getting big. When I jumped onto the water, the waves just carried me underneath the floor of the entrance, and I didn't know that there are many harmful things under, and I bumped there and suddenly hurt my toes and scratched my legs. So what I did was fight the current and swim to the other so I could climb up the stairs. I just realized that i was hurt and wounded when I got off the water and saw my toe and my legs bleeding. " Ay! Shittt! nasugatan pala ako! (I got wounded!)." I said to myself. So I just chill there for awhile. That event doesn't stop me for enjoying, so what I did was get back to the kayak and row again like nothing happened. hehe! (What A crazy devil I was! Huh?!).
There's a sad part in that story actually, it's when it's time for us to leave and go back to Puerto Princesa. So then we rode a boat, (the big one's not a fisherman's boat! well actually that's another story). Back to Honda bay and then rode a bus back to Puerto Princesa. I could say, that was a very tiring day, lots of activities I actually didn't felt that I was tired that day, I just felt it when we are back at the hotel. I slept like I was dead! And that's how the Dos Palmas day ended!
Farewell Dos Palmas!

Paradise it is...
I have been to Palawan for 2 weeks. I went there together with my cousin Jade along with other relatives. Even though it's my second time to be there I was still stunned and amazed about the beauty of the island such as the virgin forests, gorgeous beaches, peaceful city, amazing caves, mysterious falls, live corals, the beautiful scenery and most specially the very nice and hospitable people. I just can't help myself, I'm really excited about it and I'm gonna post alot! Expect that! I'm gonna divide into different journeys. But before that I wanna give you a peek into the wonderful province of Palawan.
A little trivia about Palawan...
Palawan is the largest province of the Philippines in terms of land surface. Approximately 1,489,655 hectares of mountains and lowlands. It is also one of the richest province of the country in terms of natural resources. Palawan itself is a chain of islands and islets lying along the northwest margin of Sulu and China Seas. Palawan is really a living paradise, and I can't stop myself from falling in love with its alluring beauty.
It is a very relaxing and romantic place. How ever you look at it, will match your taste. It is very suitable for the nature lover and as well as the non-nature lovers.
I'm pretty sure that Palawan will leave it's mark in our hearts and in our minds.

No sweat in Losing weight!!
Last year I discovered a diet pill that was very effective. I was 152 lbs. when I first took it. I tried it for almost two weeks together with daily jogging and exercise. My weight dropped to 135 lbs. in just 2 weeks. Imagine that I lost 17lbs. Unbelievable huh?! But it's true. The name of the pill is "Zhen de Shou" a Chinese herb.
It has no side effects at all. I really love it. I've tried Kancura before and some other slimming pills but it has no effect. I didn't lose weight and because of the Kancura I got dehydrated, and forced me to stop taking it and have medications.
I told my friends about it and it really works for them as well, then my concerned cousin told me and warned me about the pills. She said that there is a fake one. I got really scared and suddenly stopped taking it. This is the indications of the fake pills.
They say that the fake one has orange color seal while the real is blue.
And the Coin seal is really a coin for the original and the one printed on the box are fake. So you better watch out!
but still I'm planning to look for the original and plan to take it again. hehehe!

Jinx, is is true?
Is there really jinx? Or was it just in the minds of most people? Is it really misfortune, bad luck or a curse?
According to Wikipedia the word 'jinx' came from the Latin word 'iynx' which means the wryneck bird, which is used in magic and divination. The bird is used in magics because of its remarkable ability to twist its neck up to 180 degrees while hissing like a snake. These birds can be found in Africa and Eurasia.
A Jinx in popular superstition and folklore is:
* A sort of curse placed on a person that makes them prey to large numbers of minor misfortunes and other forms of bad luck;
* A person afflicted with a similar curse, who, while not directly subject to a series of misfortunes, seems to attract them to anyone in his general area.
* An object or animal that brings bad luck.
* A common slang term used when two people say the same thing at the same time (said as a game amongst the young and young hearted which suggests some kind of spooky supernatural interference).
For children Jinx is a Pokemon, Jinx is spelled as Jynx. Jynx is a humanoid Pokemon that resembles a bulky woman. Jynx wears a red gown, has white arms and puple hands. Jynx has a purple face, pink lips, saucer-like eyes and long blond hair. It seems to resemble a Nordic princess, as seen in various operas. Originally, its face was colored black, causing many to think of it as racist. Jynx is a female-only species with no male counterparts. Jynx love to dance, and while it's dancing the peolpe or Pokemons around it will dance with her. Jynx can use telepathy to transfer visions of what they've seen into a another being's mind. In battle, Jynx have the power to control ice and snow and can also use (not that greatly) physical combat.
For you, What is a jinx? Is it real?

Does weight really weighs???
Did you get what I mean? What is it with the HR Managers with the fat people? Why do they hate those people? Employers always looks at the physical side, why don't they look at the intellectual side of the applicant? Do you always have to look perfect to have a job? Terrific body, beautiful shiny hair and a glamorous face? Is that the qualification to get a job? The job doesn't even require perfect body skill. Duh! It's not like I'm gonna model a swim wear.I really don't get it.
I think this is a form of discrimination. I had an experience few months ago, I applied at Pizza Hut Co. I passed the first interview then I took the exam. I passed the exam and move on to the final interview. When I was being interviewed, the first thing that the General Manager told me was, "Oh My God!! Ganyan ka kalaki? (OMG! You're that big?)." then she laughed very loud, I smiled at her and tried to ignore what she just said. She asked me questions and I answered courteously and politely. At the end of the interview she boastfully told me that "Sorry hindi namin pwede i-hire kasi walang kakasyang uniform sayo! (Sorry we can not hire you, because we don't have a uniform that will fit you)" I was really shocked. I don't know what happened to me, I stood up and said " Mam, thanks for your time." then I walked to the elevator. She really humiliated me. Then I saw her walking towards me and talked to one of her co-workers, she told that man what she told me and laughed very loud, the man laughed out loud as well. The worst thing about that is that she talked to that man in public. There were lots of applicants waiting for their turn to be interviewed.Everybody heard what she said, they laughed secretly. That's really humiliating. every time I remember that moment I feel like I'm shrinking. From then on I said to myself that I will not eat or buy any of Pizza Hut foods and products.
Because of that experience, I told myself that I have to lose weight. I'm not that big actually. That time I was 5'5" and weighs 145 lbs. But now my weight goes down to 130lbs.
This morning I tried my luck again and applied to another company. They didn't told me that they can not hire me because of my size, they used polite and kind words. But still I felt discriminated again. Because I saw them hiring petite women. This things must be stopped!
"We're human like everyone else. No one deserves to be hated or discriminated because of how they look." - Jennifer Craig
WOMAN: "Cruises 'R us.."
MAN: "I'm Sorry, you find the insurance too expensive Madam, but I doubt they have life belts your size."
They should treat everyone nicely. Not because they have the power, they can do those unreasonable things. They are professionally unethical! They should not humiliate others. Discrimination must be stopped!
They don't know what's the effect of that discrimination and humiliation to the person who had experienced it!

HaVe yUo EvER???
have you ever denied your feelings
for someone because your fear of rejection
was too hard to handle?
we tell lies when we are afraid...
afraid of what we know,
what others will think,
what will be found out about us..
but every time we tell lie,
the thing we fear grows stronger..
..life is all about risks and it
requires you to jump..
don't be a person who has to look back
and wonder what they would have
or could have had..(,"(,")

"I almost got raped...."
said my dog named NIKHOWEI.
Her menstrual period is coming.. It started last week. And it made a big mess between her and my other dog named Drake.
That's him. He is really going crazy about it. He don't eat. He always cry and make undesirable noises. He really wanted to score.. hahaha! Before he used to weigh 17 kilos now he's down to 12 kilos. Unbelievable huh?! Well it's true. He was always chained so he won't be able to come closer to NIKHOWEI.
Now I think he is getting rid of the sensation. He is a little calmer and he eats now even a little. Two more weeks and it'll be over.....
Looking forward to that day to come, so things will be back to normal...

How happy you are right now?
Can everyone say "I'm very happy today"? Or can everyone just say "I'm happy with my life now"? without knowing why...
First of all, we must know the reason why are we happy. There are different aspects to look at before knowing it. It's not just we smile and we laugh we can say that we're happy.
We should assess ourselves if we are happy:
- by the way we look.
- by the way we talk.
- by the way we carry ourselves.
- with our career.
- with our family.
- with our friends.
- with our loved ones.
- with what we have.
- with all the things that surround me.
- with the environment.
- with the economy.
- with the politics.
- with all the events that happening to us.
Be happy! for yourself and for others. =)

Finding myself again
In the early stage of my life I was so happy and very much contented, never thought of any harm, never thought of having difficulties, all I think of is beautiful things. I have never imagined that I will have to pass that very strange phase of my life at an early age, but it's my choice then. When I was in 1st year high school, I've become a member of a "sorority and so called fraternities (group of men and women that only does bad things)". We drink (alcoholic beverages), we smoke, bullying other students, tripping on them, and the worst thing is I almost tried "drugs". Before I try it, something came up in my mind and says: "Bakit mo ba yan ginagawa? Para saan? Para kanino? Para ano? Ano bang problema mo? (Why are you doing that? For whom? For what? What's the problem?)".
Suddenly, I stopped and walked away, I went home and think.Thought . It goes, until one day someone came into my life and gave me reasons to change. I changed yeah, I quit drinking and smoking and searched for new friends. From then on I tried to fix up my mess, patching up things with my good friends, family and to those people who are dear to me.
One thing I realized about my experience is making decisions. "Once you make a decision no one is responsible for it but yourself". For you guys out there be careful in making decisions and in choosing your peers. I also believed the saying " Tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are".
